These Terms of Use (hereinafter “these Terms of Use”) set out the handling of Users (as defined in Article 1) that use the products (as defined in Article 1) provided by Bushiroad Music (hereinafter “the company”).
These Terms of Use shall also set out the handling of the Product and the handling of Voice Waveforms (as defined in Article 1) generated by Users with the use of the Product, but does not set out the use of Characters and Works (each defined in Article 1) related to the Product. For the use of Characters and Works, please follow the relevant laws and regulations and the “Guidelines for the Use of Materials Copyrighted by ‘BanG Dream!’.”
Article 1 (Definitions)
- “User” means an individual or corporation that uses the Product after legitimately purchasing or downloading the Product.
- “The Product” means all products included within the voice synthesis software “CeVIO AI Yume no Kessho POPY and ROSE” provided by the Company, and any upgrades, fixes, or patches, etc. related to all or part of the Product.
- “Voice Waveform” means any audio output generated by customers by using the Product.
- “Character” means the name, shape, form, design, story or worldview of characters included in, derived from or forming the basis of the Product.
- “The Project” refers to the BanG Dream! Project.
- “Works” means the name, shape, form, design, story or worldview or all pieces related to the Product.
Article 2 (Establishment of Agreement)
- Users shall be deemed to agree to the content of these Terms of Use by using the Product.
- Once a User starts the installation program for the Product, it shall be deemed that said User agrees to these Terms of Use at the moment that they press the button, establishing an Agreement between the User and the Company consisting of these Terms of Use (hereinafter “this Agreement”).
Article 3 (License to Use the Product)
- The Company shall grant Users with a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the Product, subject to compliance with these Terms of Use.
- Users may install and use the Product on one computer at a time. To use the Product on another computer, uninstall it from the first computer, and then reinstall it on the computer you wish to use it on.
Article 4 (Licensing of Voice Waveforms)
Users that are individuals or non-corporate organizations can use the Product to generate their own voice waveform by any of the methods specified in the following items. In addition, notwithstanding the provisions of the following items, when corporate users will use voice waveforms, please contact Bushiroad Music.
- May be used as follows if not for commercial purposes
Non-commercial uses shall be defined as using the voice waveforms for purposes that do not earn profit, for use by individuals or small production groups etc. in the scope of hobby or productions for which compensation is obtained only to cover the cost of raw materials and tools, etc.- i. Posting still images or videos using voice waveforms (hereinafter “videos using voice waveforms, etc.”) to social media or still image and video sharing sites (hereinafter “sharing sites”) to earn revenue under standard advertising revenue models such as partner programs etc. provided by the sharing sites. Also, when posting videos using voice waveforms, etc. to sharing sites, please display the name of each product used, “CeVIO AI Yume no Kessho POPY” or “CeVIO AI Yume no Kessho ROSE” in the videos using voice waveforms, etc., in a size that can be seen at a glance, in an appropriate space for the introduction on the sharing site or within the videos using voice waveforms, etc.
- ii. Recording voice waveforms on recording media (including but not limited to CDs and DVDs) to sell or distribute, whether for free or for a fee.
- If for commercial purposes, only the following uses are permitted. If using for commercial purposes, please be sure to contact Bushiroad Music before using.
- i. Posting videos using voice waveforms, etc. to sharing sites, and utilizing an official monetization program (so-called tipping functions, etc.) provided by a sharing site to make profit. Also, when posting videos using voice waveforms, etc. to sharing sites, please display the name of each product used, “CeVIO AI Yume no Kessho POPY” or “CeVIO AI Yume no Kessho ROSE” in the videos using voice waveforms, etc., in a size that can be seen at a glance, in an appropriate space for the introduction on the sharing site or within the videos using voice waveforms, etc.
- ii. Selling for a fee by downloading or streaming the voice waveform through one of the digital music aggregators specified below (hereinafter “Aggregators”). In addition to do so, please provide to the Aggregator with “CeVIO AI Yume no Kessho POPY” or “CeVIO AI Yume no Kessho ROSE” where it can be seen as part of the name of the song or artist. Please follow the separate rules of each Aggregator for details on delivery methods.

Article 5 (Prohibited Matters)
The Company prohibits the User from using the Product or the Voice Waveform for any of the following acts or acts that may result in the same.
- Acts that violate these Terms of Use and related rules and provisions
- The reproduction of the Product for purposes other than backup
- Altering, modifying, or adapting the Product, or analyzing by reverse engineering, reverse compiling, or disassembling, etc., or making analyzable
- Using any defect or fault of the Product for fraudulent purposes or communicating the same to a third party
- Utilizing all or part of the Product as a software component of the User or a third party
- Transfer, sell, or lend the Product to a third party
- Placing the Product in a state in which it can be used by a third party
- Publishing or distributing Voice Waveforms containing lyrics with content that violates laws or public order and modals (including anti-social expressions)
- Publishing or distributing Voice Waveforms without permission of the company that may give the impression that the products are official products of this Project
- Publishing or distributing Voice Waveforms that give or may give the impression that they support or are authorized by certain individuals, political parties, or religious organizations, etc., or that contain lyrics to that effect
- Anything which damages the honor or image, etc. of the Product or voice actors, characters, or works related to the Product, or the Company or Project, or the honor or image of a third party
- Acts that infringe or may infringe on the rights of a third party
- Other matters deemed inappropriate by the Company
Article 6 (Intellectual Property Rights)
All copyrights and other rights regarding the Product and all information regarding the Product shall belong to the Company or the third party that has licensed its use to the Company. Notwithstanding the provisions of this Agreement, the User shall not reproduce, transfer, lend, translate, alter, or make any other use of this information without the permission of the Company.
Article 7 (Disclaimers/Compensation for Damages)
- The Company shall not guarantee the suitability of the Product or Voice Waveform, or any other content or information provided to the User for any purpose whatsoever.
- The Product shall be provided as is, and no warranty shall be made, whether express or implied, regarding the infringement of the rights of third parties, or the quality performance, marketability or suitability for a specific purpose.
- The company (in this paragraph, including the company’s suppliers, agents, distributors and officers and employees of the Company) shall not be liable for any claims, actions, or damages (including ordinary damages, special damages, direct or indirect damages, consequential or incidental damages, accidental damages, lost profits, or any other damages of any kind, regardless of whether the possibility of such damage could have been foreseen by the Company) arising from any use, whether publication or distribution etc. of the Product or Voice Waveforms by the User.
- If this Agreement is deemed to be governed by Article 2, Paragraph 3 Consumer Contracts in the Consumer Contract Act (Act No. 61 of 2000), the provisions of the preceding paragraph shall not apply. In this case, only if damage caused to the User is due to the default or unlawful acts of the Company, and the Company is found to be grossly negligent, the Company shall be liable to the User for an amount equivalent, as an upper limit, to the price of the Product when purchased by the User.
Article 8 (Termination of Agreement)
- This Agreement shall be terminated automatically without notice if any of the following applies.
- ① When the User uninstalls the Product or its copies
- ② When the User violates the terms of this Agreement
- ③ When the Company notifies the User of the termination of this Agreement
- If this Agreement is terminated for reasons set forth in paragraph 1 above, Users must discard this Product and any copies owned.
- Even if this Agreement is terminated, the provisions of Article 6, Article 7, Article 10, Article 11, and this paragraph of this Article shall remain in effect.
Article 9 (Changes to these Terms of Use)
These Terms of Use are subject to change in accordance with the provisions of Article 548-4 of the Civil Code. If these Terms of Use are changed, the Company shall notify the User of the date of change of these Terms of Use and the content by means deemed appropriate by the Company (published on the official website of Yume no Kessho, etc.), and the changes to these Terms of Use shall take effect as of the date of change specified in said notice.
Article 10 (Governing Law)
Japanese laws shall apply to the formation, effect, performance and interpretation of these Terms of Use.
Article 11 (Jurisdictional Court)
The Tokyo District Court or Tokyo Summary Court shall be the agreed exclusive jurisdictional court of first instance for any litigation between the Company and the User regarding the use of the Product.
